Having researched Corksol opposed to normal render we couldn’t be happier with the final results. Adam is an experienced installer with professional approach and attitude in his work. He shared the purpose and benefits of the product. We are so happy with the finish and the longevity. Our house was in need of the original render being removed so this has been a project over a number of months back to brick, a base coat an corksol.
Adam has communicated throughout the process and let us know about any issues.

Following my initial enquiry, Adam explained the benefits of CorkSol clearly and with an obvious passion for the product. I asked him to apply it over my pebbledash, to stabilise the surface, improve its appearance, resist cracking and provide better thermal and sound insulation. Adam explained the process, communicated promptly, worked with both care and pace and produced a terrific outcome. Following pressure washing, Adam sheeted my windows and external fittings, repaired cracks and gaps thoroughly and applied three coats of the cork granules, followed by careful trimming of edges and conscientious cleaning up at the end. The result is excellent: A solid but flexible cover that looks attractive and will keep warmth in during the winter and resist heat in the summer. I can feel the thermal benefit already and can thoroughly recommend Lmfinishes and the CorkSol product!

After pressure-washing all the exterior walls of my bungalow and repairing minor defects, Adam covered doors, windows, soffits etc with plastic sheeting, removed drainpipes and applied three coats of CorkSol, producing a very pleasing result. Nothing was too much trouble, helpful suggestions were made, my expectations in terms of service were exceeded and it was a pleasure to have someone with such high standards and pride in a good result on the premises. The site was left clean and tidy at the end of the job. Communication was excellent, with emails being answered often within minutes. Strongly recommended.

We contacted Adam after a neighbour’s recommendation. We weren’t disappointed. Adam repaired and sprayed our chimney and the rear wall of our Edwardian terrace. It looked so good we decided to have the garden wall done as well. Not only did he do a fantastic job but was extremely open and honest about what did and didn’t need to be done. All work was completed on time and communication was excellent. Highly recommended.

Despite the challenges with the weather, and having to work around other trades etc, the team delivered a great end result. Nothing was too much bother and they were flexible when we needed to change things.

The finish is exactly what we wanted, with all the tell tale signs of previous work still visible and therefore all of it's character retained... which was very important to us, given the age and style of the property.

We did have a subsequent issue with an area that was extremely difficult to get to during the initial work, (we were also having the roof re-thatched at the same time!), but true to their word, and with just a very simple telephone conversation, the team came back and dealt with it under their guarantee...!
