We were renovating our hallway and kitchen-diner which were back to bare brick and blockwork. One of the walls was a party wall and the rest were external walls - so we were looking for a solution for sound and thermal insulation.
The whole process from the first plaster coat, the Corksol application, through to the final skim coat was done very efficiently and to a high quality by Andre and Team. We also had ceiling and stud wall plasterboard skimmed at the same time.
Andre and Team were good to work with, communicated with us throughout and were able to find solutions to any challenges that came up. We would highly recommend them!
We recently moved into an old house and wanted to strip some of the old plaster off anyway (as was blowing a bit in places) but we also wanted to see if there was a way to future proof it and improve insulation. After lot's of research we decided to give Corksol a go as it sounded perfect. We actually ended up doing the living room, master bedroom and hallway / stairwell. Really happy with the results, the walls are noticeably warmer to touch (especially now the plaster has fully dried and been mist coated) The quality from Andre was excellent and would highly recommend ALT Plastering
We wanted to use CorkSol on a shared party wall in a terrace house to help cut down on noise from the neighbours and also on the walls and ceiling of a north facing bedroom which had very cold walls and mould problems. Andre was very responsive to my enquiry, explained the process and answering all my questions. He provided excellent communication through the completion of the job and was understanding when we had to reschedule several times due to delays in other work we were were having done. He and his team took care to protect floors and woodwork before they started. They worked neatly and efficiently, leaving the place clean afterwards. They even cleaned the front walk. We would definitely recommend them.
From my initial enquiry about using Corksol to finishing the job Andre was very professional with excellent communication We wanted to use it internally on one of our bedrooms that's always cold and prone to paintwork flaking and mould developing. Very pleased with the work and finish. They worked really efficiently. The room was prepared well and left clean and tidy after. Really appreciated Andre sorting out an electrician to come and remove some old sockets and putting down fresh plastic covering on the floor after the job was finish to protect the carpet while I painted it. Would highly recommend.
