CorkSol has recently expanded their marketing team by appointing a new recruit through an apprenticeship scheme.
Following the successful recruitment of two employees through the Government’s Kickstart Scheme, the opportunity to help another young person gain valuable work experience was the obvious choice when looking to expand the team.
Having recently completed her A-Levels, Laura Midgley joins the CorkSol team on a digital marketing apprenticeship, undertaking on the job training whilst studying formal qualifications. She will be handling inbound sales enquiries alongside helping to boost the online presence of CorkSol. Her existing digital marketing skills will complement her learning as she becomes involved in our social media, web, and e-mail activity. On top of this, Laura will also be a first point of contact for our network of Approved Applicators, architects & specifiers, and homeowners, dealing with customer and technical enquiries.
Chris Heaton, Marketing Manager at CorkSol, comments: “Following a year of growth for the company, there was an opportunity to expand our team. And following the success we had with the Kickstart program, we were excited to do this by helping another young person start their career. We were highly impressed by the calibre of candidates, and we were excited by Laura and the potential she has. We’re looking forward to helping Laura develop the valuable skills and knowledge she will need to succeed in her apprenticeship and progress through her future roles.”
