O’Neill Plastering, part of the CorkSol Independent Applicator Network, have recently completed an internal project in Bradford.
This property, a solid stone cottage, had black spot mould forming on the external wall as a result of condensation, including the built-in wardrobes on the gable end.
SprayCork was offered as an internal solution by O’Neill Plastering as it would insulate the walls, which would stop condensation forming and eliminate the risk of future mould growth. The added benefit would be a much warmer room as the cork would also stop heat escaping through the external walls of the property. Two coats of SprayCork were applied, along with an overskim of plaster that would allow for the homeowner to decorate the room to their choice.
Rick O’Neill, said “SprayCork was the best solution for this property as it would make the room warmer and stop the formation of mould, a double benefit for the customer”
The homeowner commented, “We’re delighted with the outcome as the rooms are now much warmer and there’s no longer any mould, which also means we can use our wardrobe again without clothes smelling foisty”
